Crafted Cabinetry’s shop is on Port Chicago Highway in Concord, about 15 minutes from Martinez along Highway 4. Your cabinets are drawn, cut and assembled there, then driven over fully assembled. There’s no freight and no warehouse.

Martinez is the county seat and one of the oldest towns in Contra Costa, with Victorians and early-1900s homes around downtown and Main Street, and ranch and split-level homes from the 1950s to the 70s in the hills and out toward Alhambra Valley. Their kitchens tend to share a few things:
- Victorian and early-1900s homes. A framed or inset door with a traditional profile suits a house of that age. It’s built new, on plywood boxes, with full-extension dovetail drawers and soft-close hinges.
- Closed-in kitchens from the 1950s to the 70s. Many ranch and split-level homes still have their original galley or U-shaped layout. New cabinets can keep the footprint or open it up, with an island or peninsula sized to the room.
- Corners and odd widths. Older rooms rarely divide into stock cabinet sizes. Every box is cut to your measurements in 1/16-inch increments, so a run fits without filler strips.

What it costs and how long it takes
A new kitchen starts at $15,000 and upward. The quote is fixed before production starts: no mid-build change orders.
About 8 weeks in the shop once your design is approved, and about 12 weeks from the first call to installed. Installation is available in Martinez.
