Crafted Cabinetry’s shop is on Port Chicago Highway in Concord, about 15 minutes from Walnut Creek down Interstate 680. Your cabinets are drawn, cut and assembled there, then driven over fully assembled. There’s no freight and no warehouse.

Walnut Creek is mostly ranch neighborhoods from the 1950s to the 1970s, condos and townhomes near downtown, and Rossmoor. Their kitchens tend to share a few things:
- Ranch kitchens behind a wall. Many of the original kitchens are closed rooms with 8-foot ceilings. Opening one up means an island and a run of cabinets drawn for how you cook, sized to the room rather than picked from a catalogue.
- Compact condo and Rossmoor kitchens. Small rooms where every inch is storage. Custom boxes fill the exact space, up to the ceiling if you want, with no filler strips. Rossmoor’s mutuals have their own approval step for remodels; the drawings are ready for it.
- Corners and odd widths. Older rooms rarely divide into stock cabinet sizes. Every box is cut to your measurements in 1/16-inch increments, so a run fits without filler strips.

A new kitchen starts at $15,000 and upward. The quote is fixed before production starts: no mid-build change orders.
About 8 weeks in the shop once your design is approved, and about 12 weeks from the first call to installed. Installation is available in Walnut Creek.
