Custom kitchen cabinets for San Francisco, built 45 minutes away
Crafted Cabinetry’s shop is on Port Chicago Highway in Concord, about 45 minutes from San Francisco over the Bay Bridge. Your cabinets are drawn, cut and assembled there, then driven over fully assembled. There’s no freight and no warehouse.
Made for the kitchens San Francisco actually has
San Francisco’s homes are older than most of the Bay Area’s: Victorians and Edwardians in the Mission, Noe Valley and Pacific Heights, 1920s to 1940s row houses in the Sunset and the Richmond, and newer condos in SoMa and Mission Bay. Their kitchens tend to share a few things:
- Long, narrow kitchens. Many city kitchens are galleys with a door or window on every wall. Every box is cut to your measurements in 1/16-inch increments, so the run uses the whole wall without filler strips.
- Walls that are no longer square. A house that has settled for a century rarely has a plumb wall. Cabinets are fitted on site with scribed edges, so the run meets the wall cleanly.
- Stairs and tight entries. Cabinets arrive fully assembled, so we measure the stairs and doorways along with the room and size tall units to get inside.
See it before you commit
The shop is about 45 minutes from San Francisco. Book a Show Room Visit to hold door samples, compare finishes and see how the boxes are built before you decide anything.
