Crafted Cabinetry’s shop is on Port Chicago Highway in Concord, about 20 minutes from Danville down Interstate 680. Your cabinets are drawn, cut and assembled there, then driven over fully assembled. There’s no freight and no warehouse.

Danville runs from the older streets around downtown to the 1970s and 1980s neighborhoods off Sycamore Valley and Camino Tassajara, with Blackhawk and Diablo next door. Their kitchens tend to share a few things:
- Large kitchens with dated cabinets. Plenty of Danville homes have a big kitchen still carrying its original 1980s or 1990s cabinets. Replacing them brings solid plywood boxes, full-extension dovetail drawers and a door style you choose, sized to the room you already have.
- Pantries, bars and built-ins beyond the kitchen. Larger homes often want matching cabinetry in a butler’s pantry, wet bar, mudroom or office. One shop builds all of it, so the doors and finish match from room to room.
- Corners and odd widths. Older rooms rarely divide into stock cabinet sizes. Every box is cut to your measurements in 1/16-inch increments, so a run fits without filler strips.

What it costs and how long it takes
A new kitchen starts at $15,000 and upward. The quote is fixed before production starts: no mid-build change orders.
About 8 weeks in the shop once your design is approved, and about 12 weeks from the first call to installed. Installation is available in Danville.

- Production. About eight weeks in the Concord shop.
