Custom kitchen cabinets, built to your exact sizes
Every kitchen below was drawn, built and finished for one room. Not adjusted to fit it — built for it. That is the difference between cabinetry cut to your measurements in sixteenth-of-an-inch increments and modular boxes sized in three-inch steps with filler strips covering the gaps.
Crafted Cabinetry is a Bay Area shop in Concord building fully custom kitchens, vanities and millwork, delivered fully assembled. A new kitchen starts at $15,000 and upward, and takes about twelve weeks from the first conversation to installed.
What comes as standard
Some shops price these as upgrades. Here they are simply what a cabinet is:
- Solid plywood boxes: three-quarter-inch on frameless, half-inch behind a solid face frame on framed (three-quarter-inch available) — not particle board, not a substitute
- Full-extension dovetail drawer boxes and soft-close hinges on every door
- Cut to your sizes in 1/16″ increments, so nothing needs a filler strip to fit
- Frameless or face-frame construction, whichever suits the room
- Built in the United States and delivered fully assembled
- A limited lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship
Design is included. You work one-on-one with a dedicated designer from home — 3D renderings, material boards and a layout worked around the room’s real constraints, with three rounds of revisions and physical door and paint samples posted to you. There is no showroom to visit and nothing to pay for the design work.

How a kitchen gets built
About twelve weeks, first call to installed:
- Discovery — roughly half an hour on goals, budget and the constraints of the room, then you are matched with a designer.
- Design — renderings, material boards and drawings, with samples posted to you. Three rounds of revisions are included.
- Finalise — construction-ready drawings, an appliance specification sheet, and a fixed-price quote. The price is locked before anything is cut.
- Production — about eight weeks in the shop, with updates at the milestones.
- Delivery — everything arrives assembled, labelled and wrapped, and support carries on through installation.
Replacing doors instead of the whole kitchen
If the boxes in your kitchen are sound and it is the doors that have dated, a new kitchen is not the only option. A full set of custom doors and drawer fronts runs from about $1,400, ships in about two weeks, and is ordered through our online door store rather than through the custom shop.
Which of the two makes sense depends on the boxes, not the doors. If you are not sure, say so on the first call and we will tell you honestly which one you need.
Where we build
The shop is in Concord and most kitchens go into homes around the East Bay — Walnut Creek, Danville, Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Alamo, Pleasant Hill, Berkeley and the surrounding towns. Cabinetry ships nationwide, and the design process is the same wherever you are, because it was built to run remotely from the start.
Start with a conversation — tell us about the room, and you will have a fixed-price quote inside two business days.
