This explains what we collect when you use craftedcabinet.com or ask us for a quote, what we do with it, and how to ask us to change or delete it. The short version: we use your details to design and quote your cabinets and to talk to you about your project. We do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
- What you tell us when you request a quote, upload plans or email us: your name, email, phone number, ZIP code or state, details about your project, and any plans, photos or drawings you send.
- Whether we may text you. The “OK to text me” box on our forms starts unticked. We only text you if you tick it, and you can reply STOP at any time.
- Basic technical details when you submit a form: your browser type, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address. We use these only to stop spam and repeated fake submissions.
- How you found us, such as the website or ad that sent you. This tells us which of our marketing is working.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry, prepare your design and quote, and run your project through to delivery and installation.
- To send you emails about your enquiry or project. This may include a few follow-up emails after a quote request. Reply and ask us to stop, and we will.
- To keep the site secure and free of spam.
- To understand which pages and ads bring people to us.
Who we share it with
We share your details only with companies that help us run the business, and only what they need to do that job. They include:
- Our project management and email systems, where your quote and project records are kept.
- Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up this website and checks our forms for bots.
- Calendly, if you book a call with us.
- Vendors and the third-party laser-measuring service we use, when your project needs them. They get only the details needed for your job.
We may also share information when the law requires it. We never sell your personal information, and we never share your mobile number or your consent to be texted with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies, analytics and ads
We use Google Analytics to see how people use the site, and Google Ads to measure whether our ads lead to enquiries. Google may use cookies to collect information about your visit, including across other websites that use Google’s services. You can opt out of personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com and of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
Our site does not currently change its behaviour in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project records for as long as we need them to quote, build, warranty and support your cabinets, and as long as tax and accounting rules require. Plans and drawings stay with your project record.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
Email [email protected] and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it within 30 days. The only exception is anything we are legally required to keep, such as invoices.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
