Do You Have Questions?

Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions you may have on Crafted Cabinetry, Kitchen Cabinets, and bathroom vanities. Also, please feel free to reach out to us if you can’t find the answer you’re looking for.
How long does it take to get my cabinets? (lead time)
About 8 weeks in the shop once your design is approved, and about 12 weeks from the first call to installed.
What is your payment schedule?
For cabinetry we build and ship, 50% starts production and the remaining 50% is due when production is complete, before your cabinets ship. Projects that include installation follow California’s home-improvement payment rules, and the schedule is set out in your fixed-price quote.
Do you offer any special features like pull-out shelves or lazy Susans?
Yes, we offer the full Rev-A-Shelf line. Plus some other special items like pull-out toe-kick stands for the little ones
How are the cabinets assembled?
Boxes are plywood (3/4-inch on frameless, 1/2-inch behind a solid face frame on framed, with 3/4-inch available), glued and fastened in the shop, and drawer boxes are dovetailed. Every cabinet arrives fully assembled, labelled and wrapped. Check out the “Our Cabinets” tab for more.
What kind of finish do you use?
For our paint finishes, we use Evo Eclipse by Gemini. An Italian water-based finish that is more durable than conversion varnish.
For our stains, we use water-based stains.

Do you have a warranty?
Absolutely! Your new cabinets come with a limited lifetime warranty.
How do you handle changes to the design after the project has begun?
Your design includes three rounds of revisions before anything is built. Once you approve the final drawings, your quote is fixed and production starts. If you want a change after that, we’ll tell you what it affects and what it costs before we make it.
What styles of cabinet doors do you offer?
We offer a lot of different cabinet door styles such as micro-shakers, reeded, fluted, and many more. Check out the “Our Cabinets” tab for more.
What kind of hardware will you use for hinges and drawer slides?
We exclusively use Blum soft close hinges and soft close under-mount drawer glides. Hinges and hardware for your own projects are in the shop’s hardware section.
What materials do you use for cabinet boxes, doors, and drawers?
For our cabinet boxes, we only use plywood, no MDF for us!
For our doors, we use hardwoods, HDF, and plywood veneer. Replacement doors, including thermofoil doors, are sold by the square foot in our online shop.
For our drawer boxes we use hardwoods and plywood. Dovetail drawer boxes are also sold on their own in the shop.
